This golfing event is an addition to the Cedar Branch Empowerment Center’s annual Fish-N-Grits Festival.  The festival is designed to raise funds for the community center, promote fruitful fellowship and deliver a host of unforgettable entertainment.  This year’s planning committee was tasked with finding ways to expand family involvement.  From golf to horse rides, you and your family can enjoy a day catered to all members of the family.  Now, let’s not forget to mention the great tasting food.  So, here we are!!!

 Be reminded that the funds raised during this event will enhance and expand our healthcare, technology, after-school and summer educational enrichment programs.  The children attend the center’s after-school program for tutoring and homework assistance at no charge.  For the adults, we offer an “Introduction to Computers” class every Thursday night.  Healthcare services and educational seminars are available to all members of the community in effort to battle diabetes, hypertension and all other ailments that go un-diagnosed without normal doctor visits.

 In short, your contribution will benefit a number of individuals that will in-turn enrich the lives of families.

• Entry Fee 18 holes of golf, green fees, cart, goody bag, refreshments, prizes and rewards. Tournament will be filled on first-registered, first-reserved basis. Register early to ensure your spot.

• Format of Play Four-man Captain’s Choice

event with a shotgun start at 8:20 a.m.  The foursome with the lowest score wins.

• Registration Players can either register as an individual for $60 or as a team for $240. Individual registrants will be assigned to a team.  Registration booths will open at 7:45 a.m. at the course.

• Hole Sponsorship Available for the tournament for $100 (tax deductible). Each hole will be recognized at the tee base of one of the 18 holes reminding participants of your company’s services and support for the children.

• Hole-In-One Prize Package For a $10 entry fee, you can play for a Hole-In-One prize on each part 3 hole of the tournament.  The Prizes consist of the following at each hole: $10,000 Cash, $500 Visa Gift Card, Dell Desktop Computer and Sony DVD Handycam Camcorder.
